About Us
So what is this "RastlCon" thing anyway? Well, here's the deal. I wanted a convention that was a heck of a lot closer than any of them I had found around here. Nothing against any of the fine conventions listed on the front page, but there was very little around the Kenosha area. For a while there was a running joke that I would have a small Hirst Arts Gathering, in that a Gathering is just a bunch of people who are interested in Hirst Arts. My online name on most forums is Rastl, so the name RastlCon stuck. I'm also very involved with Reaper Miniatures so some of the people from that forum were asking about getting together as well. Between the two it started to look more and more like a mini convention. Hopefully you can see where this is going. Now I'm going out of my mind putting together a mini convention. I never thought of things like permits, schedules, etc. Now I have to think about things like permits, schedules, family conflicts, opening day of deer season, etc. My real goal was to pull together area gamers since it seems like most of them play in a very small circle. Hopefully this will let more and different people get together and game more, outside of this one single convention day. And, to be honest, it's way cool to have a convention named after yourself.
Jennifer Haley RastlCon Miniature
The wonderful Ms. Haley has painted this Parkinson Masterworks from Dark Sword Miniatures as a door prize. Yes, you read that right. A door prize. Aren't you glad she isn't going to be here for the painting contest??

Meet the Staff
| Name | Position | Snarky Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Marie Post (aka Rastl) | Convention Organizer | Yes, this was my idea and now I'm going to see it through to the bitter end. I'm going to be the one with the name Rastl on my name badge which pretty much says it all. |
| Steve Rysemus | Gaming Events Manager | Steve wrangles all the people running games into a well-oiled machine and keeps it interesting throughout the day for everyone. |
| Sue Wachowski | Paint Events Manager | Sue and her team of volunteers keep the paint table rockin' and the paint contests rollin'. |
| Katrina Simerly | Registration Manager | Kat knows how to count. That's a great skill. She gets to hold court over admissions, door prizes, concessions and paint contest entries. Be very nice to her - she also has the roll of door prize tickets. |
| "Sluggo" | Henchman | He's hanging around to keep everyone in line. Including us. |
